The initiative is from a virtual French community CFSL, "a forum devoted to drawing illustration, design, comics and manga. " Through these various graphics submitted, are represented ancient icons of japanese culture, or linked to Japanese pop culture, which summarize the astonishment of the world front the huge disaster and try to send not words but images of comfort to survivors. The monster Godzilla, AstroBoy, Samurai and giant robots appear in the illustrations, either as victims of nature, sometimes as saviors of the population.
